“Avatar: The Last Airbender” is Netflix’s new live‑action series, based on one of Brazil’s most successful anime.

However, its release date landed right in the most vibrant week of our calendar: Carnival. And, let’s face it, an online‑only campaign while people are out in the streets wouldn’t make sense—so we decided to master one more element: the revelry.

We enlisted the baldest icon of the world’s biggest street Carnival: Leo Santana—better known as “The Master of Rebolation.”

Throughout the entire route of Bloco Pipoco’s electric trio, Leo wore Aang’s exact costume and, of course, the Avatar’s unmistakable blue arrows.

On top of that, we produced a series of posts showing Leo in full costume, capitalizing on the singer’s social‑media reach, which only spikes during Carnival. We became the talk of the feeds and even landed headlines on various news portals…
